However, it has come with lots of problems such as the security and the aggression of Intellectual Property Right. To solve the problems of spreading illegally on the copyright, digital watermarking is one of the most methods used. Today, the standard of still image compression all lead to high compression rate image suit for Internet transmission. In all kinds of imagine compression techniques, fractal image compression make use of the similarity of imagine itself to contract so it can reach quite high compression rate. To prevent the multimedia data from being copied unlawfully or to avoid somebody cracking the multimedia data to revise when republish it. As a result, the research is based on the fractal image compression to embed the digital watermarking. In this study, a novel technique in watermark embedding is developed through the IFS (Iterated Function Systems) contrast variation based on fractal image compression. In addition the paper is based on various fractal image compressions to embed the digital watermarking. In this study analyzed the various factors supply user referral. There is an advantage: “Don’t reserve the IFS as confidential key”. The fractal parameters of a watermarking become hardly to be decoded even with the IFS data. 洪維恩 2006 學位論文 ; thesis 76 zh-TW
