| Summary: | 碩士 === 環球技術學院 === 環境資源管理所 === 94 === One of the major governmental solutions for the increasing quantity of the garbage is to establish incineration plants. In echoing the national policy of “one county one incineration plant”, the local government of Yunlin county built a incineration plant in Linne Township. The main purpose of this study is to understand the attitude and the cause of the factors of pupils from higher-grade primary schools, towards the Linne Incineration Plant. The study collects 228 effective questionnaires from six primary schools in Linne Township. The empirical results reveal that: although pupils general environment attitude are positive, their attitude towards the plant are negative. Pupils’ general environment attitude may differ according to their ‘agnate’s education background.’ The pupils’ attitudes towards the Linne Plants are influenced by their agnate’s education background, and the ‘distance between their attending schools and the plant.’ Pupils’ general environment attitude is negatively related to the attitudes toward the Linne plant. The variants of ‘distance between their attending schools and the plant’, and ‘general environment attitude’ are the most influential factors for significantly predicating the pupils’ attitude towards the incineration plant.
Lastly, this study proposes recommendations for the associated administration institutes, education workers, and the future similar studies.
