碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 應用藝術研究所 === 94 === Abstract
The southern part of the Tropic of Cancer is part of a tropical area and as such creates a rhythm that corresponds to changes latitude and geographical environment. From north to south, environment changes lifestyles, so that as a break is made with large crowds of people, the connection to the world becomes purer and more focused.
This statement discusses the interactive relationship between environment and creative work, including my perception of climatic phenomena and depiction of geographic landscapes. Detailed observation of the environment and local life experience helps me to identify the following creative elements:
1. On climate: This involves an analysis of such environmental phenomena as weather, clouds and rain, lightness/darkness, and the physical experience of them.
2. Imagining the horizon: Understanding the environment in which I live, including the interaction and displacement of large external spaces and my own inner space.
3. Intangible grooming: viewing the small elements of creative works as living things and awareness of those living things inside me.
4. Linear and weak and slim/graceful: The origin of my preference for linear objects based on an observation of the tiniest things in the environment in which I live.
5. Metallic sketches and unconscious completion: The sensitive and voracious production of the immediate as part of the creative process, tracing the construction of the piece.
6. One day the wind and sun radiate from a room to the road: The work is divided into room and roadside elements, corresponding to internal and external spaces.
7 . Luggage: explanation of the techniques employed in the work, such as Aluminum Anodizing and Enamel.
