In an age of science and technology, genuine countenances have almost been abandoned. Masks ironically turn out to be real. It brings us to reconsider the relationship between the individual and the community. Based on Mask Art, this essay through observing the transformation and the elements required to various images and by analyzing eastern and western shapes, colors, signs, images, ethnic totems and human archetype of masks, aims to discuss the tissues of Face in the category of culture. Molding masks is to express outer impact to face and to show its subconscious, dreams and vague feelings. The author uses multi-material to express her creative ideas properly and thus to build her own art style. Creation is not only the plain interpretation of one’s conscience but also introspection, criticism and originality. By the way of creation, the author tries to awaken her appreciation of humanity, to prevent herself from getting lost in a sophisticated society and to restore her nature.
