Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 應用語言文學研究所 === 94 === The era in the period of Chun Chiu Chan Kuo is the golden age in the Chinese academic history. The famous scholar, Hsu Fu-kuan, once said, “The evolution of the Chinese thoughts is totally based on people.” Therefore, all Chinese ancient saints’ and philosophers’ knowledge and wisdom were surrounding the care about human life. Thus, we can get the mental enrichment and life wisdom from the books of the ancient great thinkers to establish a set of positive and philosophic thinking and attitude to the life. So, we can enjoy the loveliness of the life happily; furthermore, can face the adversities in the life composedly.
Feeling sorry that the students of nowadays are lack of capability of accepting the frustration and deficient in resisting to the pressure – careless about their lives and obscure in life values, resulting in suicide, abortion, doping, fighting, and car-racing etc beyond control. All above shows that the general public and students are not respectful to their own and others’ lives. There are a lot of improvements needed to do in respect of education. Therefore, to promote life education is necessary and urgent. How to conduct the students to recognize the value of the life, to fulfill the meaning of the life should be the great responsibilities of all teachers with no delay.Chuang-tzu’s thinking is kind of life philosophy. What Chuang-tzu thought about life is how to settle yourself in the time of chaos; individuals how to get the meaning and value about life in the present time; how to overpass the limitation of the life, to fulfill the life state of feeling free without pending.
Further, Chuang-tzu proposed the thinking of the “the usefulness of the uselessness”, attempting to find the multi-values of self or others in order to respect other people and recognize oneself, which makes us being able to find the right philosophic thinking, to discover the true life value, “whoever was born in this world is useful no matter what.” Hence, I hope to get the inspiration for the present education and life through the investigating the thinking of Chuang-tzu.
Chuang-tzu lived in a chaotic time. He was very poor, even needed to borrow money to live on, but he still felt free and comfort in mind. His comprehension about life could provide us a lot of reflections. Especially when we face the adversities in the life, we could guide ourselves to overcome the difficulties. Therefore, the investigation of Chuang-tzu’s thinking may provide the people of nowadays learning a self-contained living philosophy to reach a free and comfort life stage.
This research will analyze the marrow and metaphor of each essay of the Internal Chapter of Chuang-tzu, through analyzing and interpreting the thinking of Meta-physical, Knowledge, Aspects of Life, Living Philosophy, Self-cultivation and Way of Education, hoping to connect the thinking of Chuang-tzu with the multi-values, life education and living philosophy of the today’s multi-societies; wishing to establish a sound and open-minded living philosophy; bravely and peacefully to face the adversities in the life, to move up the mental and spiritual state.
