Liu Tsung Yuan tries to make a research on his thought about “Combined Confucianism in with Buddhism”. Based on Confucianism, but all-embracing other theories, getting rid of corrupt pracieces, deveolping the functions of self-cultivation, social assistance, his thought had more actual significances, and affected his life style and literary creation.
