Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 音樂藝術研究所 === 94 === This study attempted to explore the possibility of applying Acappella to aural training of Chorus. Specifically, the research focuses included students’ achievement in aural skills, their learning attitudes, the problems encountered during the action research period, and possible solutions which had been taken to solve the problems. The participants were students in a fifth grade talented music program in Taipei. The research lasted for 12 weeks, two 40-minute sessions per week. Since this study was designed to be action research, the researcher conducted the teaching of the self-designed curriculum. The collected data included peer observations, researcher’s journals, students’ feedback through questionnaires and interviews, and student achievement evaluations.
The results showed that (a) the employment of Acappella could improve students’ aural skills, and (b) students’ learning attitudes toward singing Acappella were positive and most of them exhibited highly learning interests. Based on the finding, this study concluded that Acappella could be recommended in the aural training of chorus in the fifth grade talented music program.
