Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 科學教育研究所 === 94 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the flood safety cognition and attitude of the 5th and 6th graders in elementary school. For fulfilling the research purpose, the questionnaire survey is used. There are 1,150 sampled students of the 5th and 6th grade in elementary school, who are from 12 elementary schools near the Kee-lung River and 3 elementary schools near the coast. They respond the instrument, “Student Flood safety Cognition Test and Attitude Scale”, developed by the researcher. The statistics procedures employed for the results of the survey about the distribution of basic data are the frequency distribution, percentage, means, standard deviation, t-test and Pearson’s product-moment correlations. The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.The 5th and 6th graders in elementary school have the basic flood safety knowledge. 2.The flood safety attitude of the 5th and 6th graders in elementary school tende to be positive. The attitude about “Flood Prevention” and “Flood Safty Knowledge Learning” is very positive. 3.The significant difference existes in flood safety cognition and attitude for some independent variables. There is a significant difference on the flood safety cognition scores of the survey among students with different grade. There is a significant difference on the flood safety attitude scores of the survey among students with different “Flood Prevention Experience”. 4.There is a positive relationship between the students’ flood safety cognition and their flood safety attitude. 5.The flood safety education of the 5th and 6th graders in elementary school should be planned. Most of the opinions suggested in the survey show that the students have strong learning desire for flood safety, and they also hope to practice more about flood prevention and response.
