According to the research,the outdoor interpretative sign at present most often the illustration media which uses. Outdoor interpretative sign is the most used interpretive media; it is also the important agency between human and environment of environmental education system. This research make the outdoor interpretative sign to the small plant interpretative sign、medium district interpretative sign、large-scale synthesis interpretative sign,use the literature discussion, questionnaire survey, and focus group interviews.To suggestion the user of the outdoor interpretative sign page layout content and outward appearance design,investigates demand. According to the research data,some 92% illustration and 97% teachers will use outdoor interpretative sign in outdoor activities. People interviewed think that the small plant interpretative sign must have correct name, and add some explantion whether the plant is toxic, and suggestion puts front the plant, take the lumber as the material. The medium district interpretative sign must have the appropriate name, puts front the garden area entrance, suggestion use lumber. The large-scale synthesis interpretative sign aspect, most importantly the brief illustration, suggested use lumber, puts to the botanical garden various entrances. Focus group interviews part, the senior illustration will labor suggested the outdoors illustrated the sign makes the unification the design, finishes the illustration sign decrement and the following maintenance, and strengthens the environmental awareness the raise, in order to help carries out the environment education.
