The so-called assemblage is that artists create their work through the process of joining or putting discarded objects together. This meaningful process recreates the value of junk and proves that every thing on earth has its own beauty. The activity implemented in this study is called, “a little life creator” and it consists of five sections: discovery of the art of assemblage, exploration of our campus, architect,the diversity of the world, and musician of environmental protection. By comparing students’attitude toward treasuring the resources before and after instruction, it offers an excellent opportunity for teachers to improve their teaching. In addition, the methods, interview and observation, are adopted in this study to analyze students’activities and teachers’instruction. The result of this study concludes that students can develop the habit of appreciating resources from the activity, a little life creator. In addition, the application of the art of assemblage is applicable in life curriculum of the primary school and it completely met the standard of Grade 1-9 Curriculum. Furthermore, the development of the instructional material recycled from waste is a sound idea. Finally, students are very interested in learning this curriculum; especially, they increase their sensitivity to the environment and the knowledge of environmental protection after attending this curriculum. The development and application of this study can be a model or reference for the teachers who would like to integrate the environmental education into life curriculum in the first grade of primary school.
