The Gompertz distribution is one of the most important growth models. The Gompertz mortality function was established by Gompertz (1825) and it has many applications in, biological, medical, and actuarial studies.The Extreme-value distribution has been extensively used to model natural phenomena such as rainfall and floods, and also in modeling lifetimes.
Therefore, the interval estimations of two parameters and the hypothesis testing under General Type II progressive censoring with random removals are proposed in this research.
We proposed a set of new pivotal quantities with new distribution to be compared with some other pivotal quantities with F distribution in this paper.
