And the valid samplings collected back amounted to 389 copies, at a validity rate of 88.4%.
The samplings thus obtained are analyzed by means of standard deviations, frequency, chi-square test, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, Scheffe’s method, canonical correlation, and multiple stepwise regression analysis. And the findings are as follows:
1. The teachers in the above-mentioned high schools have “ Mid-High ” scores on information literacy.
2. The teachers also have “ Mid-High “ scores on teaching effectiveness.
3. Male teachers perform better than female teachers in information literacy.
4. Younger teachers perform better than elder teachers in information realization, information operation, information processing and analysis, and Internet application.
5. Teachers taking part simultaneously in school administration perform better than homeroom teachers and full-time teachers in Internet application and establishment of information ethics.
6. Less-experienced teachers perform better than experienced teachers in information realization, information operation, information processing and analysis, and Internet application.
