Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 機電整合研究所 === 94 === After the Industrial Revolution, people have so much progress in the science and technology that causes every country unceasingly pursues the growth in the industry and the economy. However, because the environmental protection event emerges one after another incessantly and the environment suffers a significant destruction, different kinds of environmental protection subject is getting more and more international attention and discussion. 2 environmental protection regulations regarding 10 items of electrical machinery and electronic equipment are announced by the European parliament at the beginning of 2003. They are respectively RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and WEEE (Waste Electronics and Electrical Equipment). These instructions will have the significant impact on the business and the development of IT industry. Moreover, the other members of the whole supply chain will also receive affects. When IT industry faces environmental regulations, the ristricktion for products, the impact for manufacturing, the difficulty for collaboration, and the risk for business should be thoroughly taken into consideration as well as think about solutions to cope with it. Therefore the concept of the green design, the green supply chain, the green information system and so on reveal. It is different from the concept we had before. The green design takes the product life cycle management into consideration at designing stage. It covers the usage of products and final abandons recycling processing to avoid entire product life cycle using the environment deleterious substance. Moreover, the green supply chain and the green information system involve the result of the green design collaboration work execution and are related to whether the firm can reduce the risk brought by green environmental compliance. This research employs the method of case studies, attempting to analyze the company’s current operational strategy, collaboration model, experience of e-business, and business model through the company’s execution of its “Green” environmental protection project. In addition, this research will further analyze the challenges/problems confronting the company while the firm developing its products and executing its Green Design collaboration. The research will also synthesize the information gathered from literature review and case studies and distill it into practical solutions, and finally analyzing possible effects of these proposing solutions. In summary, “Green” environmental protection regulations are in enormous impact to corporations and need to be carried out cautiously. With renewal of the regulations, corporations are facing more severe business operating situation. This research provided solutions and suggestions which are feasible from aspects of supply chain, operation flow, infomation system and etc expectedly to resolve problem the company is confronting and improve the efficiency of green design in collaboration
