N-carbobenzyloxy-L-isoleucylaminodecane and the other derivatives, was prepared from N-carbobenzyloxy-L-isoleucine and 1-aminodecane, 1-aminooctadecane, 1,7-diami-nohe-ptane, 1,10-diaminodecane, 1,12-diaminododecane using N,N’-dicyclohexylcarbo-diimide (DCC) as the coupling reagent. Using N-carbobenzyloxy-L-isoleucylaminodecane as a low molecular weight gelator for polar solvents, organogel electrolytes were prepared from supporting electrolyte and a polar solvent such as acetonitrile, Dimethylsufloxide, and Dimethyl Formamide by physical gelation. The ionic conductivity of the prepared organogel electrolytes decreased very slightly with increasing concentration of gelator, while the gel strength drastically increased with increasing concentration. This type of gelator can be applied to organpgel electrolytes fabrication of dye-sensitized solar cells.
Part Ⅱ
This study is to discuss how to produce the organic micro-wire by ink-jet printing. The drop drying will produced nonunifrom film, attributed to coffee ring effect. Coffee ring effect is natural phenomena caused by many factors, such as the concentration, viscosity and surface tension of the solution and the vapor pressure of used solvents. We try to understand many physical and chemical factors correlated to the trend of coffee ring forming by using Taguchi method. We find out the suitable parameter of producing the organic micro-wire from the experimental results. PMMA and PVA are the main material used in this research, since it can be used as insulator in Organic Thin-Film Transistor (OTFT). The width of the narrow wire can reach about 2~5µm with proper parameters obtained from the system analysis. In the future, these results can be applied to the short-channel OTFT fabrication.
