Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 化學工程所 === 94 === My thesis is aimed to observe the rheology properties of different ethyl cellulose contents by adding Terpineol and B.C.A. (Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether Acetate) as a vehicle. The yield stress, thixotropy and viscosity under different shear rate were studied by steady measurements means of Rheometer. The storage and loss modules were measured by dynamic testing. The experiment results show that Terpineol is a good solvent for ethyl cellulose compared with B.C.A. The molecular chains of ethyl cellulose can be fully extended in Terpineol which results in a better 3-D network entanglement. These network structures provides higher values in viscosity, yield stress, thixotropy and better stability in dynamic measurements. In good solvent system, Terpineol, ethyl cellulose has great impaste in blending the pastes. In poor solvent system, B.C.A., ethyl cellulose has not great impaste in the flow properties of paste. Through our researches, we know to choose a proper solvent to gain the past of mask printing via observing how different binder and solvent contents effect the theological properties of vehicle. Due to gain the past of mask printing, we change viscosity, thixotropy to achieve a recipe of solvent according to different binder contents and rheology system.
