Existentialism has developed and become popular since post World WarΠ. There have been a lot of excellent studies and professional essays presented by many scholars.
Many Western researchers have found that Heidegger was a great thinker with an Eastern style of thinking ，which can be stated as follows：
「Way and weighing
Stile and saying
On a single way are found.
Go bear without halt
Question and default

「Weg und wage
Steg und sage
Finden sich in einen gang
Geh und trage
Fehl und frage

The ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu said:
「If Tao can be Taoed，It’s not Tao
If its name can be named，It’s not name
Has no name：precedes heaven and earth
Has a name：mother of ten thousand things」

The way Being to Heidegger what Tao to Lao Tzu. Both men were the highest and the most mysterious thinkers in the world. The systematic thinking of Heidegger and Lao Tzu reveal fundamental of Ontology. The most significant difference between them is that it is hard to find any subject in Taoism to construct the theory of aesthetics. On the contrary ，we can find much important data about concepts of beauty in a lot of books written by Heidegger. It doesn’t matter how they define beauty and art in their theories. Being is the purest origin of all realities. Therefore，the essence of truth and art are discovered by the concept of〝being〞. This research is constructed from their previous achievements. This study attempts to give a sympathetic understanding to both Heidegger and Lao Tzu and to create a dialogue between them.
Gadamer has said：
「What is stated in the text must be detached from all contingent factors and grasped in its full ideality in which alone it has validity……What he understands is always more than alien meaning：it is always possible truth.」﹙Truth and Method Hans George Gadamer，雙葉出版社 P356﹚
Another of this study is to express the essence of the concept of art，including its truth ，and the origin of art . As we know，art is the best representation of human life，and is the most ideal state of goodness
and beauty（Even God likes to listen the Brahm's symphonies）. Art in
one society can be compared with art in another society. The comparison is inevitably a dialogue about the differences in thinking between the East and the West . Through art，we can directly build a bridge of communication between different concepts in the West and the East. Then we can comprehend the ancient and modern philosophies.
