By investigating the multi-faces of the family, what is the demand and feeling to children regarding to family? Furthermore, take 107 adults` memory “the home of the childhood” as the research object, during the year of 50~70 Taiwan dynasty, demonstrating the multi-faces including the family, house type and location under the society. Children can not live independently because of their un-mature mind. They must live under the protection of the family, so family is thought as key point to the mind development of the children. This research includes the living experiences of every individual child, analyzing the relationship between the specialty of children’s mind development and the family. Fully describing the complete individual case and look for the essence and sample of the family. Overall speaking, the children’s mind is developing by sensing the family from time to time. It can clearly discover that the mind specialty is developed by how to use the space. According to the location, structure, type of the family and the society, these factors will enable children to have different experiences and feelings. For instance, the children of living everywhere focus on the natural living experiences outside the family. The children of living within people have not only the experiences either inside or outside the family, but also the good relationship among the neighborhood which focuses on the interaction of everyone. The children under the roof, according to the different types of structure like house or apartment, strictly management of parents or the life of self owned business, the children have more memories about the space inside the home. Yard is the most clearly memory for every children. It represents the border of the family, or the management of the parents to minimize the opportunities of going out for adventure regarding the children. However, a result is being discovered in the individual case that the home of the children will have the specialty and essence by the mind development. For instance, children enjoy actively creating their own paradise and declaring their own position by imagining and arranging the space. On the other hand, children will influence by parents passively. Because of the care of the family, they will establish the sense of safety and familiarity toward the family. The definition of the home is not only a structure which can satisfy the basic demand but also can keep telling the sweet story. Home becomes the eternity and has the positive meaning for every child. From above research, we have three suggestions. Having the environment with good relationship among the neighborhood will enable the children to have the ability of caring the environment and managing the relationship. House should arranged by the specialty of mind development. Parents have responsibility to take care of the children and re-planning the work and the family time.
