Description
Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 工業設計學系 === 94 === The Fashionable style which exists in our daily life is always changing and unpredictable. Excepting the ideas from designers, many factors also effect the changes of fashionable style including politics, economics, society, technology, environment, time, and etc. In this study, social phenomenon which is from 1950’s to 1980’s and the development of fashion and industrial products will be analyzed and generalized. This study focuses on the same period’s fashion and industrial products, and compare with their forms, colors and qualities, and look into both relationships under the social development. The result will be the reference resources for industrial design. The result of the study shows that social phenomenon influents the changes of fashionable style. We also find the similarities in the development of fashion and industrial products in the same period. In the 1950’s, owing to the lack of goods and materials and paying much attention to living needs, the fashion and the industrial products in this period both show that functional style and concise style. In the 1960’s and 1970’s, the society was in the unstable situation. The anti-tradition’s ideas had risen. The styles in fashion and industrial products were colorful, anti-traditional, symbolic, and material. In the 1980’s, the products went out of use quickly that cause the pollution, unusual weather and reduction of energy. Those situations all were reflected on fashion and the industrial products, and were developed style of protecting environment and style of concise. We can understand that the relationships between fashion and industrial products were shaped by social phenomenon. After comparison and analysis of their forms and colors, there are common characteristics. The mainly common characteristic in forms is style. The mainly common characteristics in color are chrominance and luminance. From the study, it can be seen that observing the changes of social phenomenon is helpful to understand how the fashionable style is formed and think about the trend of design in the future. The colors and forms which are common factors for fashion and industrial products are important to design. Hoping this study can provide the references for the research in the future.
