| Summary: | 碩士 === 東海大學 === 工業工程與經營資訊學系 === 94 === Computer is increasingly important in people's life and the bridge between computer and people is screen. Thus how efficiently presents messages on screen is the topic which people always emphasize. In the first experiment,we investigate the effect of background factors(luminance contrast and polarity) to operation performance of computer. In the second experiment, we investigate the effect of memory numbers to memorizing and searching performance of computer.And we also discuss relationship between the personalities and the operation performance of computer. There are fifty-five students (forty-one male and twenty-two female) join the experiment. The SPSS package is used for the SAS/PC., ANOVA, GLM and Duncan’ multiple-range test and correlation analysis of the experiment data. From the analysis, we have the following conclusion:
1. There is a significant influence of luminance contrast on
operating performance.With luminance contrast increasing the
operating performance is better.
2. There is a significant influence of polarity on operating
performance. The performance of positive presentation is better
when the work is harder, but when the work is easier the
performance of negative contrast is better.
3. There is a significant influence of memory numbers on operating
performance.With memory numbers larger than five the performance
significantly become worse.
4. In the first experiment, there are negative relationship between
locus of control and finishing time.
5. In the second experiment, there are a negative relationship
between self-monitoring and finishing time, and a positive
relationship between A/B personality and CFF.
