碩士 === 亞洲大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 94 === Abstract The purpose of this study were to reveal the present circumstance of the participation of Taekwondo club for elementary school Taekwondo club members and compare different population statistics variables of elementary school Taekwondo club members in different participation motivation and also research factors of the effect of Taekwondo exercise participative motivation. The study was conducted by questionnaire, using self-edited survey “the participative motivation scale for elementary school Taekwondo club members” as research tool. Subjects are the third,the fourth and the fifth grade of elementary school Taekwondo club members in Changhua county, Taichung county, Nantou county, Yunlin county and Taichung city. Through Stratified Random Sampling, investigating 530 Taekwondo club members and getting 482 Significant Sampling.The data was analyzed through descriptive statistics, Independent-samples T test and one-way ANOVA statistic methods to do every statistical test. Finally, synthesizing conclusions and giving suggestions according to result. The results of this study were summarized as follows: 1. The participation motivation of Taekwondo club for elementary school Taekwondo club members was higher , they had more optimistic and active viewpoint of participating Taekwondo exercise. 2. The ratio of male members was slight higher than female members; their learning period were mostly less than one year; the majority members were students of the third grade; they were centralized in131-140 in height and 31-40 kilograms; their family income was mostly less than 30,000 NTD per monthly and had lower family social rank. 3. The priority of participation motivation for Taekwondo club members was “exercising body to become healthier”; the last option was “the effect of tales of chivalry and TV programs”. The first participation motivation was the factor of body need; the second factor was knowledge need and the rest of factors were achievement need and socical need. The factor of psychological need was lower; encouragement suggestion need was the lowest. 4. Different population statistics variables of participation motivation for Taekwondo club for elementary school Taekwondo club members only in height and family income ; family social rank variables didn’t reach significant level of difference, but it had difference in other variables.
