Further more, this study analyzes whether there is gender difference between elementary school boys and girls in learning capacity when using on-line teaching system. The participants are 106 forth graders in Nantou County. This study applies the on-line teaching system and on-line test system specifically developed for the study. The statistic tests used include mean standard deviation, z-test and t-test. The major findings of this study are: 1. The on-line teaching system conducted in the study achieves the goal of teaching, improves the academic achievements and saves the time on testing and test evaluating. 2. By using on-line teaching system, elementary school boys learn significantly better than girls. 3.
