In the human visual system of complicated and nuanced mechanism, in order to keep the color stimulus appearance stable in difference observe conditions.
The application of the appearance of a color is of great importance in evaluating the color loyalty across different media and illumination conditions in many color reproduction applications. This however involves the human visual system's marvelous mechanism to produce a stable perception of an object color across changes in illumination.
In order to predict the color appearance of one color stimulus, we consider the factors of surrounding light or background effect etc. This paper applies the color appearance model called CIECAM02 and iCAM to simulate human visual system with changing condition under different illuminants. And we discuss which model can predict the 「corresponding color」exactly.
Furthermore, we use CAM to handle adapting procession of video images. Firstly, we divide the dynamic images into many individual frames and apply CAM to simulate the chromatic adaptation. The simulated result will be performed on display devices. During this examination, the changing situation with human vision will be judged to compare the phases in practice via a light-booth.
