Summary:碩士 === 世新大學 === 圖文傳播暨數位出版學研究所(含碩專班) === 94 === In the past few people cared about the young adult with mental retardation, and there were filled with negative media’s attentions. Only few people know the mental disorder very well. Mental illness can start in childhood, and the questions which the children and teenagers face are very important. In the first chapter, composer introduces the “another village”—youth daycare center, to the public by elaborating the motive of this object. That if the public pay attention to this issue, get more knowledge about the mental disorder and review the policies on the youth and children patients would be the purpose of this work In Chapter 2, composer summarizes the books utilized the psychiatric theories and photo documents recorded in documentary photography and analyze how those psychiatric images were presented and how to be interpreted. Artistic technique will be revealed in the following chapter. Composer utilizes the traditional camera and black and white film to be the main devices. Both 135 and 120 cameras are used in this work for high quality and vividness. In Chapter 4, data’s search and collect and interview psychiatric patients complete 5 case studies. The complexity of the youth patients’ mental disorder and the problems which they have to face are also the subjects.
