However, we still hear or see frequently some accidents in some recreational places, especially on tourists disobey the rules. Scholars found that tourists’ culture background will affect the risk perception, t is always different from experts. Most of the central areas in Taiwan are surrounding mountains, and further the earthquakes cause lots of mudflows and landslides in these areas, such as Yu-San National Park. Hence, these natural disasters will threaten tourists’ safety. Therefore, this study is aim to research tourists’ risk perception of recreational environment from the aspect responses from their risk perception. This research will focus on Yu-Shan National Park, and the tourists who had already been to Yu-Shan National Park and above 18 years old to do analysis. Furthermore, through questionnaires will carry on the feedback of tourists who are from four visitor centers in Yu-Shan National Park, including Shueili、Tataka、Nan-an and Meishan. The effective questionnaires are totally 406 pieces except invalid one. According to this research, the different culture background of tourists is one of the key factors to affect their risk perception. The tourists who choose Yu-Shan National Park to be their leisure place are closing Hierarchy. Besides, environmental risk in risk perception is the most conspicuous. On the other hand, water conditions and underground disasters are the most concerned issue. By multiple regression analysis, tourists’ risk perception in recreational environment can influence significantly their satisfaction, and underground disasters are predictable variable. Tourists’ risk perception in recreational environment can influence significantly tourists’ recommend action, so unsafe acting is a predictable variable. Moreover, tourists’ risk perception in recreational environment can’t significantly influence tourists’ patronage. The practical action for Yu-Shan National Park should strengthen the rules、facilities、services and equipments. The park ranger should design some adventure activities for adventurous tourists to increase their satisfaction and recommend action. This research also suggest the tourists better follow the rules and choose suitable activities based on their own condition.
