These digital content can be easily displayed on computer, but also duplicated and broadcasted with no limitation. Due to the representation is very different from the tradition tangible work, digital content has many unavoidable problems and challenges in management. Nowadays, the most interesting topic that digital content owners concern is how to manage the copy write of digital content. The Digit Right Management (DRM) is a mechanism that combines the access of hardware and software. In order to protect the digital content during its life cycle, from producing to vanishing, DRM setup the read-and-write authority and associates them with storing media. DRM also can continuously monitor and manage the digital content usage while it is using with or without duplications. In this research, we proposed a Wrapper-based DRM mechanism by applying API HOOK technology to provide the protection and management of digital content. The existing DRM mechanisms usually need extra special player to read protected digital content. To simplify the playing processing and avoid changing users’ habits, the proposal in this thesis can help users enjoying the protected digital content without additional players.
