Description
Summary:碩士 === 世新大學 === 資訊管理學研究所(含碩專班) === 94 === Following Taiwan’s entERPrises swarming into China to build their operation base and due to the restrictions imposed by the government for the direct trade across the strait, the business mode of receiving orders in Taiwan and making shipment from China has been increasingly prevailing. Limited by the ban of direct trade with China imposed by the government, establishing an offshore company in the third area has become a popular choice for Taiwan’s entERPrises to transfer the orders they received to China for production. It has developed the demand for account transfer. Moreover, with the operation mode in three areas across the strait, some issues including outsourcing labor and materials, process with provided materials, and material purchase from domestic and overseas sources have made the corresponding receipts used in the transactions more complicated and the business operation in the three areas across the strait has turned out to be more sophisticated and complicated. With the complicated operation, many tasks have to be processed through the offshore affiliated company in the third area. However, in order to save time and money, the process has been formidably simplified. A lot of operation has been curtailed to a form of document transmission so as to meet the requirements of external auditing procedure and there is no shipment delivery operation involved in the procedure. The virtual administrative operation is used in a majority of the transactions occurred across the strait. Compared with original trading operation, the massive increase of data processing incurred from the transactions through the third area not only takes enormous manpower and time, but also enhances the risk of errors. It also results in the increase of management cost. Such complicated information operation can be improved through the implementation of ERP system. Using case study, the entERPrise information personnel and the operation personnel at the three areas across the strait were interviewed. Base on ERP consultant, professional and other entERPrise IT member support provide eight process model and sixteen process behavior. With thorough planning and utilization of the ERP system of a renowned brand as the resolution for the operation in the three areas across the strait to simplify complex process steps, reduce process time and cost , improve data collection and have all history data for audit.
