This study used quantitative research method with target sampling was done and in-depth interviews, Subjectives were psychiatric social workers in military hospitals. The main research findings are as follows: 1.Social workers' main tasks in medical teams included in providing information about family and patients, promoted consensus among team members, liaison between doctors and patients, and cooperate with psychiatrists. 2. Social workers' treatment for patients included helping illness treatment, discharge affairs, army adjustment, resource use, and follow up. 3.Social workers' treatment for families included helping family communication, clarifying important matters, offering advice, helping in coordination, emphasizing emotions, instilling hope and health education. 4. Social workers' treatment for military officers included explaining related issues, providing health education and advice, and taking military discharge procedures. 5. The factors that affect social workers' treatment included working experience, psychiatrists' treatment decision, military hospital regulations, values concepts understanding of the promotion system in the military. Based on the findings, the writer reflected problems in Armys' management and care of the sick, four suggestions are offered: 1. Emphasize psychiatric social workers' treatment function. 2. Expand the way workers think of their treatment. 3. Strengthen guidance of the mental health in the Army. 4. Strengthen base company officer' concepts and abilities in case work assessment and treatment.
