Summary:碩士 === 東吳大學 === 社會工作學系 === 94 === The research is motivated from my own working field and the process of placing those non-voluntary clients. It continues to understand and analyze clients’ resistance behavior from the perception of POWER. From the review of the environment elements and clients’ resistance behavior, it’s expected to learn that placement implementation of youngsters is a practice of POWER and further to develop a process and value which is able to execute and solve the difficulty caused by the non-voluntary clients resistance behavior while in the placement system. This research mainly divides into three major parts. The first part is the strategy to enhance the willing towards to the placement from non -voluntary clients. The second part is the understanding of POWER from my and participants perceptions. Finally, it comes to a case study by practice a placement organization based on the mutual influential point of view of POWER between me and participants and how participants interpret ate of POWER and their execution. From the strategy of rise the non-voluntary clients willing towards to the placement, it is started from environment and the structure elements include hardware and software. Based on my understanding of the resistance behavior of the non-voluntary clients, it’s intended to release the tension and pain between the social workers and clients cause by clients protest behavior thru a series structure of hardware. Furthermore, it is compulsory to have the participants to share the same objectives and continue the movement. The second part is to brief the participants an objective of movement itself, and further to develop the treatment strategy for those non-voluntary clients v.s. environment. Thru a series of communication and modification, it can be developed a treatment strategic format which suits to the environment and also the working format for the participants and myself. The third part is to re-assess the relationship between my and participants opinions towards to the implementation strategy and non-voluntary clients resistance behavior. Based on our understanding, the following strategies are able to raise non-voluntary clients willing towards to placement, I. Consistent principles and alternation rules II. To satisfy the needs and reduce the resistance III. To restructure the meaning of the control power IV. To establishes the mutual trust and face the sensitive issues V. To review the work frequently Besides, from the movement, it is experienced the relation of power between me and participants, in order to avoid the situation to have non-voluntary social workers to handle those case with non-voluntary clients. This will upgrade to a higher level by only professionals practice of power while it’s comprehended the relationship between non-voluntary clients and the placement system. From the research, the focus is not to enforce the non-voluntary to voluntary, nor function the placement system well without the hassle by the host’s resistance behavior, but it is encouraged that the placement system is able to provide an exit to release the tension and pain of the non-voluntary clients. It is expected that those who enter this field are able to develop more strategies with the reference of difficulties provided by this research, even though it’s difficult. Finally, the research review back to my role and positioning in official system which also shows that it provides space and authority to those individuals with professional and capability of assessment who are willing to work in this system.
