碩士 === 東吳大學 === 企業管理學系 === 94 === GSCF and SCOR are two major supply chain management conceptual and analytic frameworks, adopted by many manufacturing companies, but they are less popular in service industry application. This study attempts to modify and apply GSCF and SCOR in the service industry. The supply chain of a service provider for the community broadband network industry was selected in this study. The study modeled the service supply chain by GSCF and SCOR supply chain management frameworks. In-depth interviews and collections of relevant empirical data were done. The business operational information and performance indicators of supply chain management were built and used to analyze supply chain performance. Moreover, to find out the performance of case study company’s competitors, in-depth interviews were used again to collect supply chain performance indices of competitors. With these information, a SCOR-card was built and the supply chain performance improvement target was set for the cast study company. Furthermore, the improvement contributions were estimated for management reference. This study has shown GSCF and SCOR, with proper modification, can also apply to the analysis of service companies. This is an indication of the new opportunity for the service industry to manage their supply chains better in the future.
