Also, the teachers’ abilities to promote the criteria after receiving training courses will be discussed. Finally, the researcher will present the results of the study in order to offer elementary school teachers a reference for ethics education. This study adopted the method of action research and was executed in a day care center for one year. Through observing the courses, interviewing the teachers and children, analyzing the examination papers, the research proposes the following conclusions:(1)It is a feasible scheme to instill in young children the notion of good character systematically, via a designed five ethics curricula, which includes twenty-two lesson plans.(2)Through the ethics curricula, the young children in the study made good progress in the abilities of cognition, goodwill and behavior.(3)Through the proper sequence training courses, all teachers’ abilities in conducting character courses are increased. Finally, according to the conclusions, the researcher proposes six suggestions in the following areas: (1) Regarding the ethics course design: teachers’ team work is needed. (2) Regarding the ethics course learning: all the examination papers for young children should be designed appropriately for their ages. (3) Regarding teachers: surveys of the teachers’ responses revealed that they were increasingly able to grasp the lesson plan preparation. (4) Regarding parents: parents thought highly of the ethics curricula, but did not cooperate in the home. (5) Suggestions for follow-up researchers interested in ethics education. (6) Suggestions for the related authorities: Authorities should take young children into account whenever ethics education budgets are planned.
