Summary: | 碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 資訊管理學系研究所 === 94 === This research constructs Linux and MS-Window as teaching environmental of computer classroom, taken two classes of 78 grade five students in an elementary school as experimental objects. The researcher observes the learning condition under two operation system environments of Linux and Windows. According to Nine-Year Educational Program the curriculum of the information education, the researcher carries on the teaching for 14 weeks. Controlling group takes the Windows operation system as the teaching material. Experimenting group adopts the Linux operation system to carry on the teaching. Comparing the learning results of two groups of students, the research indicates two things through the simple questionnaire: (1) the information chief’s ability to establish teaching environment in Taichung County. (2) Controlling group students’ choices and viewpoint of the environment to the future.
Through the comparison of students’ homework, two groups of students on the different platform of the performance have no significant difference and there are 72% students also accept X Window by questionnaire. However, there are still 13% information chief don’t feel it is necessary to change anything about the increment or changing teaching environment.
In order to reach the concrete and practical application, there are four suggestions in the research:
(1) The seed schools need to be widely established in each county and city.
(2) Construct multiple learning environments in different areas.
(3) Build up the teaching idea of computer and avoid becoming the soft gymnastics to make the training.
(4) The idea of information education needs to be promoted since childhood.
