The purposes are: understanding the social status of low-income elementary children; understanding for what reason the individual factors influence the social status of low-income elementary children; understanding for what reason family factors influence the social status of low-income elementary children; understanding for what reason school factors influence the social status of low-income elementary children. First, to understand the social status of five low-income elementary children by using sociometric nomination. Second, to find out the influencing factors, by using semi-structured in-depth interviews with five low-income elementary children, four main caregivers, five teachers, and seventeen classmates. The main findings were as follows: 1. In this research, the social status of low-income elementary children who have higher ratio being assigned in been rejected. 2. Individual factors that influence the social status of low-income elementary children are: appearance, personal character and social skills. 3. Family factors that influence the social status of low-income elementary children are: life attitude of the main carer, the way parents teach values, and the level of intimately with parents. 4. The school factor that influences the social status of low-income elementary children is teacher’s favorite. 5. Poverty is not the main factor influencing the social status of low-income elementary children; the real factors that influence it are all various factors associated with poverty.
