Description
Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 運動教練研究所 === 94 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the free radical in post ultra marathon period to a 24 hours ultra marathon’s runner with supplying Coenzyme Q10 for 7 days before ultra marathon period. Subjects are 9 males who used to run long distance regularly with mean age of 50.5±10.47 yr, height of 168.5±6.0cm, weight of 63.1±6.74kg, and experience in running age of 8.5±4.79. Research design took balanced order as the research method, the study was divided 9 male runners into two groups and each participated practicing for twice. First practicing run was in supplying Coenzyme Q10 (100mg) for 7days before ultra marathon period group; another was in supplying placebo for 7days before ultra marathon period group, as for second practicing run, the supplements which supplied for these two groups will be exchanged, it’s the double blind experiment. 9 runners completed 57.5±116.km equally in 6-8 hours; the environment average temperature of the second practicing run is 16.78±0.98℃, the humidity 92.63±3.35%, It is allowed to dining during running, the blood sampling were collected instantly after and before 30 minutes running to analyze the biochemistry evaluation , and then observes the change of SOD, GSH-Px and MDA. These data by using t-test to processed with α=.05. The result indicated that whether Q group or P group, there was no significant effect of MDA, GSH-Px, and SOD and after run and before run. In conclusion, it has no a significant effect of the free radical in supplying Coenzyme Q10 to 24 hours ultra marathon runners.
