Summary: | 博士 === 中國文化大學 === 國際企業管理研究所 === 94 === Past literatures research a lot in the workplace friendship field, but they didn’t discuss about the influence of recruitment to workplace friendship. Therefore, the purpose of this study focuses on the influence of employee referral of the recruited activities to the workplace friendship, and meantime tries to understand in the different organizations of different nations, the relationship between employee referral and workplace friendship would change or not.
This study sent 300 questionnaires in Taiwan companies, and 257 were returned. 200 questionnaires were sent in the Japan companies, and 129 were returned. 200 questionnaires were sent in the America companies, and 108 were returned. 470 questionnaires are valid. The results of this research are below:
1. The employees through the employee referral into the company, and their workplace friendship with other coworkers are better than those didn’t through the employee referral into the company.
2. The employees through the employee referral into the company, and their workplace friendship with their introducers become better.
3. The workplace friendship between the introducer and the referral are better, the workplace friendship between the referral and their coworkers are not worse.
4. The motive of the introducer would influence the workplace friendship with the referral
(1) If the motive of the introducer is the referral’s skill and ability, and the workplace friendship between the introducer and the referral are changed.
(2) If the motive of the introducer is the relationship with the referral, and the workplace friendship between the introducer and the referral became better.
5. The relationship between the employee referral and workplace friendship in different nation organizations would be different. That is, this study found employee referral would influence workplace friendship in Taiwan and Japan companies, but the result didn’t appear in the America companies.
