However, follow by the domestic policy economy change and the movement of metropolitan development, the technology of military defense and land management of military defense are simplified. In the recent year, many camps start to change. During 2003-2004, there were 196 military camps give out for other purpose in Taiwan. As it can be seen, the future development is well predict and there are many opportunities for property development. On the other hand, the lands which give out are just change to metropolitan development or change land registration. Therefore, the land has higher value for development. People always forget about the local history and culture environment. In addition, the government spends so much money on building military camp for defense and training purpose. However, none of the camp has been maintain properly and there were not many people give comments and opinions on the value of old building and the value for reuse of space. This research is base on this topic for research iscussion. The concept and ideas were generated from the reuse of space of military camp in Taiwan. In Taiwan, due to the government policy and increase in culture and tourism prospective, there are many reuse building become restructure and made use for culture and consumption. The examples and The Mayors Residential Art Salon,Red Castle,Art Site of Railway Warehouse , Pine Garden and many others. It is very easy to define that many reuse of space in old building are turn into restaurant and it has become a fashion in the current trend. In Taiwan, dine out in restaurant has become one of the main leisure in consumer behavior. There are high percentage of reuse of space been use for restaurant operation purpose. On the other hand, the open space exhibition has decrease in reuse of space. The question is why the reuse of space exhibition cannot attract tourists to visit? It is possible that it should think about the architecture in reuse of space. The question is whether the function of the museum will make the ticket box boom or not? The truth is that the museum has get away from maintain the historical data and exhibition development. Now, it is focus on its objects characteistic and explaination. Furthermore the emphasize on the feeling in history culture space and self-attachment. Therefore, it will have both educational and recreational purpose. This research used a combination of outdoor museum vision and tour guide system. It focuses on the operation mechanism of the reuse of space. In addition, it also supports the technological operation for the actual demonstration in the current environment. From the result of Dapeng Bay Military Camp, this research found out that Dapeng Bay can become reuse of space. The research discovered that Dapeng Bay is operational. The heritage of military site and the advantage of reuse of space are excellent for in depth tourism. There are more opportunities for further development. The purpose of this research is to provide an outline and suggestions for the future benefit in design and management team in taking over of military camp. It also provides a good basic plan for the Taiwan defense department in how to organize and maintain the military culture and historical data. This survey will benefit to the defense department.
