Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 設計研究所 === 94 === Automobile industry is mainstream in the developing or developed countries due to it means presentation of high technology, strong connection to other industries, and high add-on values. Automobile industries research and development got huge changes and tight marketing and well - known automobile manufacturers tend to integrate to globalization in recent years. Automobile manufacturers in Taiwan launched design and R&D centers to promote the high-tech RD and create new vehicle style. This research aims to application of industrial design in Taiwan automobile industry by reviews of literature and interviews of specialists. And the conclusions are below as follows: 1. The parts design is mainstream in Taiwan marketing. Although getting more range for parts design but key technology still based on mother manufacturers. And automobile design company is coming to take care of entire vehicle design. 2. Automobile design procedure is similar with general products in industrial design. And the main process: 1. Opening a design→ 2.Design concepts development→3. Clay model & 3d digital model building→ 4.Detail design→ 5.Final clay model and digital model confirmation→ 6.Final data release to next process. 3. CAD(Computer Aided-Design) promote efficiency on design procedure and schedule. 4. Specialist human resource in Taiwan lost due to move to china. 5. Automobile designer must have more knowledge and skills compared with the designers of other industries.
