For instance, as a speaker continues to hold a note without take a new breath, the pitch has the tendency to displace toward lower frequencies. When a speaker maintains the same tone and talk in a single breath, the pitch also has the tendency to displace toward lower frequencies at the end of each sentence. In contrast, when a speaker takes a new breath to speak, the initial pitch has both higher frequencies and energy. Since a speaker’s vocal energy is proportional to the amount of a breath of air, this text (research) intends to explore the effects of the amount of airflow on speeches, its relationship with computer speech application software and methods of fine-tuning the software to both recognize and mimic human voice more naturally for broader applications. For example, a speaker’s breath of airflow will change after aerobic activities (such as jogging and/or running up a fly of stairs), the effects of this change of airflow on the speaker’s pitch and tone when speaking will be discussed in detail. The main topics to be discussed in this text includes: the effects of the amount of breath airflow in and out of a speaker’s vocal tract (including lip model) during speech on the speaker’s voice properties, and blend these changes in vocal properties into speech-models to improve computer speech applications. 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 93 === The breath of air flow should have/has prominent effects on a speaker’s vocal properties as he or she speaks.
The main topics to be discussed in this text includes: the effects of the amount of breath airflow in and out of a speaker’s vocal tract (including lip model) during speech on the speaker’s voice properties, and blend these changes in vocal properties into speech-models to improve computer speech applications.
