碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 94 === There are quite a lot of authorities involved in impetus and implementation of public construction, and effects of communication and coordination deeply influence construction result. In construction life cycle, it is mostly influenced during planning design stage. As long as communication management can be effectively carried out during planning design stage, situations occurred during follow-up stages including frequent design modification, interface coordination failures, construction defaults…etc. can be largely reduced. In view of above, this study is for the purpose of controlling the points of communication conflict sources and management resulting from each stage of planning design project performed by local engineering consultants companies by means of interviews with professionals and studies of respective case so as to establish a suite of communication management model applicable to planning design projects of local engineering companies. The six processes as follows are comprised in this model: 1.Advance Work 2.Communication Planning 3.Information Transmission/Distribution Implementation 4.Performance Reporting 5.Design Result Presentation and Feedback 6.Stakeholders Management. Simultaneously, this study is also to plan measures of communication management for each process in cooperation with planning design operation procedure. It is expected to coordinate the problems arisen from each interface in implementation and integration of Planning & Design project by means of establishment and development of the model, to carry out thoroughly the control of progress, cost estimate and quality, and to make Planning & Design project management more efficient and methodical so as to ensure the accomplishment of objective for project management.
