Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 94 === The objective of this research is to design a circuit of a piezoresistive sensor for measuring the normal force of connectors. Due to a direct proportion between the change of resistance of the piezoresistors and the normal force, the piezoresistors can be employed to measure forces. The normal force acting on the sensor causes the bias voltage induced by the Wheatston Bridge where the piezoresistors are implemented. The voltage is then processed and converted to the corresponding normal force to be shown on the LEDs. Because the piezoresistors are easily influenced by temperature so it is needed to adopt a temperature compensation method to reduce the error caused by temperature. A PID controller is designed by using Taguchi techniques to reduce the noises which influence the output of the piezoresistive sensor.
