Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 管理研究所 === 94 === It requires the tangible assets to run a business; however, it is more important to have the intangible assets, such as the buildup and transfer of business knowledge. Because of this, the business can be carried on continuously and developed prosperously. The business environment is now changing rapidly and the key to success is to learn the business knowledge efficiently throughout the organization. Therefore, it is the main topic for the business to reach its training goal through the effective learning of business knowledge. The bigger the companies are, such as chain stores or multinational businesses, the more likely the gaps of knowledge transfer and learning occur. Take the chain store for an example, because the turnover rates are very high and the services are based on the standard operating procedure, it is important to implement the e-learning to train all the employees. The purpose of this research is to summarize the success elements and evaluation of e-learning proposed by Rosenberg (2001). Furthermore, I would like to analyze the process of implementing the e-learning system, to investigate the key successful factors of e-learning, and the learning outcome for the employees. Based on the literatures, four key successful factors can be concluded – 4C, i.e., Culture, Champions, Communication, and Change. These are the major elements which will affect the results of e-learning. If the e-learning is not supported by the upper management, its values are not paid attention, and the integrated strategies are not obtained, it is hard to achieve the effectiveness of e-learning. These four factors would deeply influence the strategies of e-learning developed by the business case. Therefore, with case study model, this research is to collect the information by questionnaire, to analyze these four factors, and to summarize all the actions taken and the reasons for success when implementing the e-learning.Through leading unit, strategies, organization culture, information system, and learning content, the study details the concepts and influence of all successful factors and provides valuable reference to those chain stores which have installed or will install the e-learning system.
