However, in the paper industry, especially in the tissue paper area, there was very few cooperation among the sales, inventory and production functions in an industry. Therefore, the production planning still heavily depends on the human beings experience. In this research, an agent based cooperation system was proposed by applying a two-stage forecasting and planning model. In addition, a neural network model was proposed to support the learning capabilities of the agent system. A three stages framework was proposed to develop the agent-based integration system. In the concept stage, the modeling tools such as VAD and EPC were used to capture the collaboration requirements among the various functions of planning. In the design stage, an UML-based analyzing method MaSE was used to develop the agent-based integration system. Finally, in the implementation stage, agent based integration system will be developed by using Excel VBA and neural network learning to support the planning activities in the family used paper area in the paper industry.
