Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 工業管理系 === 94 === The industrial plastic industries in Taiwan are facing two aspects pressures, the first one is the characteristic of the industry is rapidly changes in the whole world. And the second one is how does the enterprise deal with the problem of cross-strait division and maintain the ability of competitive meanwhile the industry is migration. This research discusses the competitive ability of the industrial plastic industries in Taiwan and develops an investigation of the Taiwan plastic manufacturing industry, by way of case study, the analysis discussion, we will understand the competitive ability of industry and give some suggestions of the possible improvement direction in the future.
Because of the technology of the nowadays plastic industry mature gradually, many outer coverings of 3C products are use the plastic as its main raw material. Therefore, the plastic industry and the electronic industry also have the high relationship. The Taiwanese investors in the mainland China have high investment in Kunshan, Suzhou, and Wuchiang, so it can be obviously find out the route of west Shanghai is the focal point of Taiwanese investors in recent years. Under this phenomenon, Taiwan OEM industries will be able to face a stern challenge in the future several years – competition by the mainland local OEM enterprises. This phenomenon, speaking of Taiwan, is the crisis, also is the favorable turn. In the recent ten years, the Taiwanese investors had the quite considerable foundation in managing the mainland China marketplace. In addition the superiority of the same racial, compares with other Asia's country, Mainland China will became an important economical center of Taiwan. But considering the unstable relationship between Taiwan and Mainland China, and the economical scale of Taiwan and of China are disparity, both of which will raise the risk of Taiwan economy. These also are the problems when Taiwan is facing the century of globalization competition.
The purpose of this research is realize the impact of Taiwanese enterprise in the Mainland China when they are facing the mainland enterprise, how to adjusts the self- footsteps and the solution of it. The attempt from the point of view of production, marketing, research and development discusses the Taiwanese investors’ competitive advantage in the plastic industry. Through this research, we can understand the mainland competitor's condition and their future trend.
