| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 造形藝術研究所 === 95 === As the techniques improve, the package design becomes more plenty and diverse to appeal the consumers. However, most package were disposed recklessly as trash and cause pollution to our environment. It seems we need to deal with the disposals of used package. Fortunately, more modern industry sought out solution from package design itself to reduce the damage of post-consumer waste. The so-called “Green Design” was gradually recognized and adopted as principal for package designers. We could see more package design, especially those package of bride cakes, go towards the mulit-function way, in the hopes of consumers’ consideration to recycle for other utility. The thesis is from consumer’s perspective to find appropriate package design for reuse, especially with the package design of wedding cakes. We would conduct from consumer’s preference about the model and design of wedding cakes package to find .
The research was applied with editorial analysis, professional discussion. We also do consumer polls and apply with KJ method and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to run the result. Our suggestion as follows:
1. Function in Use is the most important element to decide the possibility in reuse.
2. Renewable material, Shape &; Structure, Size, and Safety of package will also be the top issue for consumers to consider if they would reuse these package.
3. Regarding to the Shape &; Structure, it seems the “multi-layer” design is the most popular for consumer’s consideration.
4. Regarding to the design about Decoration and Graphics, consumers prefer saving those packages with printed flowers.
