Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 機械工程學研究所 === 94 === The fracture behavior of the materials needs many cycles of cyclically tension to generate the data of fatigue. The maximum frequency of MTS (Material test system) is 20 Hz. It takes very long time on MTS for the fatigue experiments. The sensitivity of small specimen cannot be measured well and precisely by using MTS. There will be an anticipation to improve sensitivity by designing a miniature of fatigue test machine. Therefore, it will have the advantages of smaller size, higher sensitivity and frequency. Also, we can shorten the time of experiment, and we can know the condition of fatigue by this smaller testing machine better.
This research is mainly for the miniature of fatigue test machine. There will be explanations on the applications of the actuator, the design and the equipment for each part. In order to manifest the qualities of the fatigue on the miniature of fatigue test machine, there are four small specimen ( 2014 Al alloy, 7075-T651 Al alloy, 304 stainless steel and 4340 alloy steel) used for testing. The data are compared with the data of the CT specimen on MTS.
The experimented specimens were photographed by metallograph. The procedure and the difficulties encountered in this experiment are also recorded to help the development of the miniature of fatigue test machine to be more perfect.
