Enterprise Software Industry were in the same trend and have a lot of applications been built to market in an new application technology architecture to challenge the existing vendors.
Merge & Acquisition(M&A) is a famous and popular strategy to expand the scale of Enterprise, but unfortunately the cases of failure are much more than the cases of success. According the publication from Thomason Financial, historical record as USD 3.5 trillion in 2006 which is higher than the record of 3.38 trillion in the internet bubble of 2000. M&A have reached the new historial high after 6 years of internet bubble.
It is a great topic and worthy to study ‘how to improve the success rate of M&A’, but anyway it should not be the only one way we have to grow the enterprise . The most importance is an enterprise ‘HOW’ to think about to pursue the growth strategy? Maybe M&A, maybe not? What knid of method and process we should use to know the answer? What kind of key factors we need to consider in the process?
The study is try to build a planning architecture for enterprise growth strategy and then assist to the planning of growth strategy regarding strategic thinking . Through the way of systematic thinking to form the track of thinking and come out the action items.
The case study method is applied in the study , to understand the adaption of planning architecture for enterprise growth strategy in enterprise software industry.
