In order to overcome this problem, forward error correction mechanism is proposed to be applied into the RTP/UDP network transmission applications. This paper proposes a method to apply FEC to a VoIP System, and thus can guarantee the quality of service under unreliable transmission channel. This paper also creates a FEC-based Dynamic Jitter Buffer which is used to compensate for delay jitter or lost packets. Using the FEC-based Dynamic De-jitter buffer mechanism enables one VoIP System to guarantee the quality of voice service and applies much lower bit-rate codecs to decrease the transmission bandwidth. 李肇林 2006 學位論文 ; thesis 43 en_US |
