The following is the topics:(1)The method of changing liquid crystal parameters、(2)Top-Bottom TFT electrode LCD(I)、(3)Top-Bottom TFT electrode LCD(II)、and (4)Patterned Common(P.C.) electrode TR LCD design. Those studies base on FFS mode(Fringe-Field Switching) which has high light efficiency、fast response time、and wide viewing angle property. To go a step further, the four topics match transmissive LCDs and reflective LCDs E-O curve. In (1)The method of changing liquid crystal parameters, different pretilt angle is the major method for matching threshold voltage(Vth)which could get more matched E-O curve of T & R part. In (2)Top-Bottom TFT electrode LCD(I)、(3)Top-Bottom TFT electrode LCD(II) and (4)Patterned Common(P.C.) electrode TR LCD design, the three topics take new structure design to get the same transflective LCDs E-O curve.
