There is a tendency that this construction procurement model will be the main stream in our country gradually.   In recent years, lots of literatures related to Design-Build construction were published in Taiwan. Nevertheless, most of them were written from the viewpoint of owner. In fact, the liability of construction execution is primarily depended on the contractor and only few materials about this concern could be referred. For this reason, we would like to investigate the key factor affecting the schedule of Design-Build construction from the viewpoint of contractor in this thesis. Design-Build architectural constructions are more complex than other kind of Design-Build constructions, since there are more materials, working steps and complication of work interfaces. This thesis focuses on Design-Build architectural constructions and hope that it can be employed in all Design-Build constructions.   The contents of the work items in this thesis are on the basis of the reference book “Quality and Schedule Management of Design-Build Constructions” edited by Public Construction Commission, Executive Yuan. In addition, we have added some work items such as milestone in the thesis; hoping the framework would be more complete so it is more convenient for people to carry out construction schedule control. The questionnaires included in this thesis are based on the factor phase of Design-Build schedule control. Besides, we use AHP (Analysis Hierarchy Process)and ranking method to perform statistical analysis so that we can get the relative weight or sequence of the key factors in Design-Build construction schedule control. All of the results could be offered as engineer’s reference and might be employed in engineering implementation; with lowest risks and cost-effective management engineers can achieve the duration and quality control of the constructions as expected.
