l The participating experience in the art display, from the students who graduated at the year 2002 from Wen Hwa Elementary School, is being analyzed.
l Recall students’ past participating experience in the art exhibition and discuss its significance.
The findings of the study are as follows:
l When the theme is designated by the teacher, the curriculum design can be completed with the discussion with students, therefore, it can be viewed as a studio-oriented program.
l Besides, when humanistic arts are merged into the curriculum, they can also incorporate into our diverse daily lives.
l The types of campus displays are also changed. The thematic approach makes school’s exhibitions more united and collective strength is thus presented.
l The art teacher, who is also the curator, extends the reflection of the curriculum. The communion between art teachers and curators makes humanistic reflections more valuable.
l Through the participating experience, the sense of recognition is thus developed. Community feelings and consciousness are imperceptibly cohered. The value of self existence is affirmed accordingly.
l The operation by art teachers and curators doesn’t necessarily influence students. Therefore, their unexpected feedbacks and reactions are precious.
l By recalling the participating experience, students can piece together their own images and thoughts.
l The presentation of art is the continuation of life experience.
