After many years working in the academic field, the researcher has found “stage fright” has become the major problem among students when they are studying at school. To build up children’s confidence has always been the researcher’s educational goal. In the teaching career for so many years, the researcher has found that children are deeply enjoying Shuo-Chang Art. And when these children perform Shuo-Chang Art, they have revealed the strong confidence so much that you would be touched. Therefore, in order to understand the feasibility of teaching “Shuo-Chang Art program” in the Alternative Learning Periods and the learning condition of students, the researcher has altered and redesigned a series of Shuo-Chang Art curriculum, and put them into practice in the first two grades of the elementary school. Based on the teaching study result, the researcher got the summarization of the following: 1.Alternative Learning Periods are the good time for teachers to carry out the curriculum that they designed on their own and that will bring their specialized ability into full play. 2.Shuo-Chang Art is a curriculum that integrating with arts and humanities which are worthy to be promoted. 3.The material for Shuo-Chang Art teaching could be collected from daily life experience. 4.The handicapped or the students need to be treated with special care could earn their self-confidence from the Shuo-Chang curriculum, coming along with effective learning results. 5.Through enthusiastic participation by students’ parents, the Shuo- Chang activity could create a great opportunity for parents to interact dearly with their children, further to be moved by children’s performance so as to recognize their achieving results. 6.Shuo-Chang Art could be developed as school’s characteristic curriculum. Besides, the researcher also respectively provides some relevant suggestions, such as teaching materials innovation, teacher fostering, school administration and the follow-up research for reference.
